Elongated-lanceolate, 2-10 cm long, grey-green on both sides, falling in October to November without autumn colours

Ovoid, attractive coral-red berries, 2 cm long, coloured from August on, unpalatable

Sun to light shade; resistant to heat and drought, frost hardy, robust and not demanding, tolerant of urban pollution
