Tilia - Lime
Tiliaceae
Our Tilia
For centuries, limes have lined streets and paths in open landscapes, villages and cities. In squares, courtyards, and parks, limes provide shade with their massive crowns both in groups and free-standing.
One speciality of the limes is their late flowers; they are all summer-flowering trees with conspicuous yellow, fragrant umbels.
Round crowns
Conical to ovoid crowns
