Acer palmatum ‘Dissectum Nigrum’ is a deciduous shrub with cut, lobed, purple-red leaves. The deep red shoots are followed by a bronze-green colour in summer. In autumn, the foliage shines in a beautiful, clear scarlet red. It produces flowers from May. With a slow growth rate, the shrub grows around 20 cm to 35 cm per year. It adds 20 cm to 35 cm in width.
