Impressive, large tree, 18-25 (30) m tall, 10-15 (18) m wide; one stem or often several, deep, light, highly domed crown, twigs horizontal to upward-reaching, lightly overhanging near the ground; initially fast-growing, 50-80 cm a year, later 20-30 cm
