Habit
Small shrub with fine twigs that reaches up, 1.2-1.5 m tall and 2 m wide; slow-growing
Blossom
Many primrose bell flowers before leaves shoot; soft and pleasant smelling; depending on spring weather, in (February) March-April, flower some 2 weeks; gracious early spring flowers

Small, cordate, bronze shoots beginning of May, then light or medium green, pretty yellow from October on
