Habit

Loose, broad normal shrub, 2-3 (4) m tall and wide; shoots funnel-shaped, twigs arching-overhanging, medium to fast-growing

Blossom

Densely packed white umbel panicles in May; pungent smell; beautiful

Leaves

Broadly elliptical, bluish green, pure yellow in autumn, unlike all other Cotoneaster species

Fruits

A spectacular array of berries; 1 cm, round, pale scarlet; from end of August; sweetish-mealy taste
