Philadelphus hybrids - Sweet Mock Orange

Only a few of the 70 wild species spread across the northern hemisphere are found in our beds. Instead, the cultivars from France are preferred as their growth is not as wild, their flowers more double, and they have a pleasantly sweet fragrance. The varieties have comparable needs and characteristics. Wild varieties: P. coronarius, P. inodorus grandiflorus.
