Habit

A splendid shrub, 1.5-3 m tall and wide; initially stiffly upright, later reaching far out, arching lilting; loosely asymmetrical; medium to strong-growing

Blossom

Pure white, in domed corymbs on the upper side of the twigs, May to June; very conspicuous

Early shoots, round-oval, fresh green on top, bluish green underneath

Sun to light shade; likes warmth, frost hardy
