Habit
Initially columnar, later slenderly conical large shrub, 2-4 (6) m tall, 1-2 m wide, with vertical shoots in sprays, densely parallel.
Leaves
Golden yellow scales with a bronze shimmer in winter, not turning green.

Partially sunny to lightly shady, likes warmth, moderately frost hardy, protection from winter sun and east winds advised.
