Impressive large tree, 30-40 m tall and up to 20 m wide, reaching a tree-trunk diameter of up to 2 (3) m, dome-shaped crown, spreading branches; this tree lives up to 400 years in age

Tips
Especially in altitudes Ulmus glabra was not hit by the Dutch elm disease as hard as Ulmus minor
