Loose broad shrub, 2-3 (4) m tall and wide; twigs arching far out; slow-growing

Blossom

Numerous attractive, ball-shaped cymes, pink when opening, then shimmering white; depending on the weather (March) April to May, some second blossoms; intense scent of vanilla

Semi-evergreen, rarely evergreen; elliptical, shiny dark green, in winter also black-green; grey-tomentose underneath
