Pure white panicles, very large, tapering, up to 25 cm long, sterile marginal flowers pink when fading, July to August

Deep green, oak-leaf-like, 12-20 cm long, three- to five-lobed, somewhat wrinkled, tomentose underneath, autumn colouring splendid orange, rust-red to violet, from September onwards
