Habit
Loose and broadly upright normal shrub, 1.5-3 (4) m tall and wide; with elegantly overhanging twig tips, slow-growing
Blossom
White, nodding panicles some 15 cm long, (March) April to May; individual flowers like bells
Leaves
Evergreen, lanceolate to reverse ovoid, 8 cm long, shoots early, bronze-green, then shiny dark green, leathery, in whorled clusters at the ends of shoots
