Our Hydrangea

The summer-blooming hydrangeas bridge a noticeable gap in blooming of your garden over the year. It is distinguished by its idiosyncratic appearance and unusual blossom shapes. Furthermore, it requires acidic-humic, fresh, or moist soils.
Blooming: Hydrangea wild species and its derived forms have plate-shaped inflorescence. Its outer sterile marginal blossoms appear very large and particularly coloured, while its inner, fertile flowers are smaller and of another colour. Each of blossom types does its work: the outer ones attract insects, and the inner ones develop seeds. As a result of cultivation, rather inconspicuous inner blossoms turned into magnificent marginal ones. So, the flat inflorescences changed into ball-shaped, densely packed blossom panicles.
