Our Fraxinus

Fraxinus is a species which covers approx. 65 types in the temperate climatic zones of the Northern Hemisphere. Ash trees rate among
the largest deciduous trees in Europe; native to the climate are F. excelsior, F. ornus and F. angustifolia.

Their wood is extremly stable and flexible. The site amplitude is very broad. Ash trees grow on deep, fresh bogs as well as on shallow soils rich in limestone.
