Funnel-shaped, terminal and in axils, intense red, single (wild varieties) to double, fleshy sepals, numerous stamen, summer

Leaves

Deciduous, ovoid-lanceolate, oval, leathery, coarse, shiny light green, entire, up to 8 cm long, shoots red or with copper veins, intense yellow in autumn
