Conspicuously small yellow to cream-white flowers, fragrant, in 30 to 60 cm long, hanging, strong terminal panicles, early summer
Leaves
Evergreen, fanned out, finely cut, various deep cuts, dark green on top, with silvery shimmer underneath, up to 1.5 m wide, petiole 40-100 cm long, with fine, thorny teeth on the margins, persistent for many years
Demands
Full sun, semi-shade to shade, needs protection, not sufficiently frost hardy, cold house, dry in winter
