Spring at last!
The days are getting longer again, the sun becomes stronger, the trees are developing their first flowers and leaves.
Parks, gardens and the open countryside burst into colour and life.
Particularly pretty flowering plants include, for example Magnolie, Malus and Prunus or juneberry. Before planting, however, you should find out exactly what requirements the new plant has for its location and whether there is enough space.
Many of the early bloomers only form the first leaves after flowering. As a result, they have a considerable advantage over other plants. They use up the reserve substances of the past year for flowering.
„“If the flowering fails, it is often due to the lack of water in the summer before. The plant doesn’t produce many flowers and stores too few reserve substances. Tip: water your early bloomers on hot days in summer to ensure plenty of blossom in the coming spring."
